Criticizing Radio Shows, New Shoes, and a Prayer Request.

Wow! Hasn’t it been so long since I last updated my blog.. LOL.. I guess I just haven’t found the time, really. I’ve been moving house and for 2 weeks I haven’t got internet connection at home. After I got my internet at home, I always seem to forget to update. But anyway, today I decided to update from my workplace cos’ I’m soo bored right now…

Anyway, there are few things that’s been on my mind lately..

1. Criticizing Radio Shows
   You know that Em and Whippa show in 92.9? Well, I just think they are rubbish (pls don’t take it personally, it’s just my opinion). First, there was this game where they call an expert, for example a chess expert. Then they throw this guy a quiz. As an expert he answered all correctly, but Em & Whippa told him it was incorrect answer.. All these just to make the person irritated. What’s the point?!Then, they had this latest game where you could get reunited. They will bring their friend/family from overseas. But before seeing each other, he/she must answer 3 questions. If he/she answered all 3 incorrectly, they won’t meet at all. This morning a participant could only answer 1 question so she was only allowed to meet her sister 1 painful minute. She hadn’t met for 13 years, and you could hear from the radio show how heart broken she is.

   I just see these kind of programs as desperate moves to get people listening despite the foolishness of the show.

2. New Shoes
   It’s been a while since I bought a proper shoes. Always seem to get my hand on anything that’s about $20 for shoes. Now, I need to buy a sport/casual shoes. Been spotting a good one in Foot Locker but it’s $150.. 7 times more expensive than what I usually willing to spend for a pair of shoes! Hopefully, SALE is coming soon
3. Pray for me!
   As my close friends would know.. I got involved in credit card fraud costing me $8000. Citibank’s service is really slow.. after 1 month they are still in their early phase of investigation. They told me to wait another 6 weeks for it to be investigated. Arrrr.. I just felt unease with this Especially by 6 weeks I’m gonna be back to Indo/Bali for holiday. I don’t want this issue to make me enjoy my holiday less. Please pray so it could get solved very soon

Anyway, all things apart.. Christmas and New Year is coming soon. Gotta be excited with 2009!
