It’s probably one of the most shocking death news I’ve received this year. Heath Ledger is one of my favourite actor.. even better, he is from Perth, Australia.

The first movie I watched him play was the first movie that made him famous. It was The Patriot where he played as son of Mel Gibson. Then I saw him Knight’s Tale. Have never watched Brokeback Mountain but I salute his bravery in playing such controversial movie. I think he is one of the finest actor, like my other fave, Johnny Depp, he is able to fill in almost any kind of role in a movie.

Of course, one of the latest movie he played in, which proves me even better, was in Batman : The Dark Knight due to be released this year. He portrayed Joker in this movie.. and I think he looks very psycho and sadistic with enough make up that doesn’t make him look unnatural like Jack Nicholson’s Joker.

Can’t wait to watch the movie. It’s kinda tragic though because Heath Ledger will never know how his role worked out in this movie, what’s the review and how the public will comment his role. But at the same time, everyone who will watch this movie will realize that this “Joker” has died and he left us with such a great entertainment and figure of the real Joker.. for the Batman fans like me, at least. :)

Rest in peace Heath Ledger…
